Lean in Service: from missed deadlines to on-time-in-full

We are continuing our series of lean case studies outside the manufacturing shop floor. This one involves compliance with regulatory deadlines in a financial organisation. The Lean Ireland consultant used the invaluable process mapping + cause and effect fishbone analysis approach with department personnel, to identify the likely causes of missed deadlines. The path ahead was determined from the voice of the participants. 100% compliance to deadlines was achieved.
