Welcome to our Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (CLSSYB) online course page. CLSSYBs typically work in teams and resolve local process problems on an on-going basis. On this live interactive online course you will learn how to identify customer needs, and error proof and standardize process steps so all team members can work in a simpler smarter and safer way. Customer satisfaction grows & costs fall. The learning journey takes us through six sigma DMAIC problem solving i.e. Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. You will discover how to craft a problem statement, identify the 7 wastes, analyse process problems and problem solve in a structured way as a team member. The course objective is to enable the problem solver and team to ‘find a problem, fix a problem and prevent a problem from coming back’. CLSSYB certification is awarded on full attendance at completion of a small project. In consultation with Lean Ireland tutors, your organisation will select an appropriate small scope project. Course materials and recordings of all webinars are available for all candidates to download.
The CLSSYB online course is run according to the curriculum guidelines of ISO 18404:2015 Quantitative methods in process improvement — Six Sigma — Competencies for key personnel and their organizations in relation to Six Sigma and Lean implementation and ISO 13053-1:2011 Quantitative methods in process improvement — Six Sigma — Part 1: DMAIC methodology.
