At 168 pages of dense type, Toyota’s integrated annual report is not a light bedtime read. However it is useful to grasp Toyota’s long term plans, including its approach to cultivation of human resources, accident free driving, community mobility, carbon neutrality and the circular economy. Many of the principles and plans it espouses are applicable to a wide range of organisations. It gives us a great understanding of ‘living lean’.
